GJ-IMT is an ISO 9001:2000 certified institute, established in 1998, approved by AICTE, and affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. GJ-IMT has experience of 9 batches of MBA & 5 batches of MCA. GJ-IMT is ranked at 46th position by CSR (Super Special issue Dec 2006) in survey conducted by Global Human Resource Development Centre (GHRDC), for top 100 Business schools.

No, the fee structure is identical.

                

What is the admission procedure for getting admission in MBA at GJ-IMT?

There is a systematic procedure for taking admission in MBA course at GJ-IMT. There are 120 seats in MBA course at GJ-IMT. The basic eligibility criteria are that the candidate should be a graduate in any stream. Normally 40 seats are filled through Management quota and 80 seats are filled through Management Entrance Test (MET), which is jointly conducted by Punjab Technical University (PTU), Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), and Punjabi University.
Normally Management Quota seats are filled first. The admission process starts in the month of February. The candidates, who are interested in management seats, need to buy a Prospectus-cum-Registration form and submit to Institute to register their names by paying an amount of Rs.1,000/- (non-refundable/ non-adjustable against any types of fees to be charged later).

After registration, MBA aspirants would be called for one-day rigorous selection procedure. The selection procedure is discussed as under:

• The written test will consist of 50 multiple choice questions with further division of 50 marks as under:

After scrutinizing the candidates through selection criteria, the merit list would be displayed for Management quota seats. The remaining candidates would be given free coaching (as per dates convenient to Institute) for MET to be conducted at University level, so that they can get admission in GJ-IMT.

                    

What is the admission procedure for getting admission in MCA at GJ-IMT?

There is a standard procedure for taking admission in MCA course at GJ-IMT. There are 60 seats in MCA course at GJ-IMT. The basic eligibility criterion is that the candidate should be a BCA graduate or should have done Mathematics as a subject till 10+2 and done Graduation. Normally 18 seats are filled through Management quota and 42 seats are filled through Management Entrance Test (MET), which is jointly conducted by Punjab Technical University (PTU), Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), and Punjabi University.
