Available Scholarships

GJIMT supports talented international students through a range of scholarships that recognize academic excellence, leadership, and diverse talents. We also welcome financial or scholarship support provided by governments, companies, and NGOs for their students.

(1)Merit-Based
Up to 50% on tuition fees

Outstanding academic achievements (top 5% of previous academic record), demonstrated leadership qualities, and strong letters of recommendation.
Application Process:
Kindly change it to “No separate application is required. The scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible students upon admission to any of our programs and is adjusted against the tuition fee along with other scholarship benefits”

1. Do I need a visa to study in India?

Yes, international students are required to obtain a valid student visa before entering India to pursue any academic program at GJIMT. Once you receive an admission letter from the institute, you can apply for a student visa at the nearest Indian Embassy or Consulate in your country. It’s advisable to apply well in advance to avoid any delays.

2. Are scholarships available for international students?

Yes, GJIMT offers limited scholarships to meritorious and deserving international students. These scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and other criteria set by the institute. Applicants are encouraged to check with the admissions office for the latest information and to apply early.

3. What support services are available for international students?

GJIMT offers comprehensive support for international students, including orientation programs, academic advising, language assistance (if required), cultural activities, career counseling, and dedicated international student coordinators to help with visa, accommodation, and general well-being.

4. How is the weather in India?

India has a diverse climate, but GJIMT is located in Chandigarh/Mohali, Punjab, where the weather is generally moderate. Summers (April–June) can be hot, with temperatures reaching up to 40°C (104°F), while winters (December–February) are cool and pleasant, ranging between 5°C to 20°C (41°F to 68°F). The monsoon season (July–September) brings moderate to heavy rainfall. Students are advised to pack accordingly.
